nominaHQ opens its API and webhooks for developers

Panama City — 6 May 2026. nominaHQ unveiled its developer platform, which lets teams integrate Panama payroll with other systems via a REST API and webhooks. It is, to the company's knowledge, one of the first payroll platforms in the country to offer a documented public API.

The v1 API exposes companies, employees and payroll runs, and includes an endpoint to calculate and approve runs programmatically. Outbound webhooks notify events (payroll approved, paid or posted) and are signed with HMAC-SHA256; delivery includes SSRF protection. The interactive docs, based on Scalar, provide per-endpoint examples and code samples.

The platform is aimed especially at BPOs and accounting firms that automate their clients' payroll and connect it to their own stack.
