Migration

From Excel to nominaHQ, without losing your history.

Moving from a spreadsheet to nominaHQ isn't starting over. You bring your employees and accruals, set the balances as of today, and run the first month in parallel to compare — with the comfort of a 30-day trial.

The process

Four steps to leave Excel behind.

Gather your data

Your employee list with code, ID, CSS number, salary, hire date and bank details. If they're already in a sheet, you're ahead.

Load the employees

Create your company in nominaHQ and load the employees. You set departments, positions and cost centers once.

Set accruals as of today

If you migrate mid-year, you record vacation, décimo and ISR accruals as of today so balances and projections are exact from the first payroll.

Run in parallel, close with SIPE + ACH

Run your first nominaHQ payroll alongside your Excel and compare. When it matches, generate the SIPE payroll and the ACH file — and leave the spreadsheet behind.
