nominaHQ adds Ley 462: CSS rates current through 2029

Panama City — 18 March 2026. nominaHQ announced that its calculation engine automatically applies the gradual increase in the CSS employer contribution set by Ley 462 of 2025, removing the need to update rates by hand each year.

The employer rate rises from 13.25% to 14.25% on 1 March 2027 and to 15.25% on 1 March 2029; the employee rate stays at 9.75%. nominaHQ stores these rates as date-effective parameters, so each payroll uses the correct rate for the period being processed.

The change is especially relevant for accountants and outsourcing firms, who no longer have to replicate the update in each client's template.
